| Agreement Binder |
| Each of the individual funding agreements between
the Iowa Department of Transportation and the local public transit
systems or intercity bus providers incorporate by reference provisions
contained in Part II of the agreements as well as various federal
and state statutes and/or rules or circulars, which are considered
to be Appendices to the agreements. All of these items were originally
maintained in a loose-leaf binder, into which the transit system
was encouraged to place their executed agreements. Over time, as
more types of agreements were developed the binder became quite voluminous,
and the burden of keeping everyone supplied with current versions
of all the documents also became enormous.
The “Agreement Binder” is now a virtual construct
that can be accessed here.
