Structure: The RTC is governed by the Iowa Northland Regional Council of Governments (INRCOG) on recommendations from a 17-member advisory committee. The Regional Transit Commission is comprised of two members appointed from each county; two members appointed by INRCOG; and one member each appointed by the cities of Independence, New Hampton, and Waverly. |
| Special Features/Highlights: RTC provides service to elderly and disabled persons, along with a significant number of Head Start children throughout the rural areas of the counties in its service area. Exceptional Persons, Inc. is a major provider. All services are open to the general public. |
